TKPS Fluorescent Pigments:
Excellent heat stability with organic solvent systems of non-polar or weak polar system. Apply to gravure inks, plv plastisols, paper coatings, pvc screen inks and crayons.
Applications:
TKPS Fluorescent Pigments possess better tinctorial strength, exceptional brightness, excellent heat stability with stronger solvent and bleeding resistance than conventional thermoset fluorescent pigments commercially available. They can be vastly applied to the organic solvent systems of non-polar and weak polar (i.e. aromatic hydrocarbons, acetate esters, fatty alcohols). Important Notice:
Certain metal ions are known to cause color changes and loss of brightness with fluorescent colorants. Studies have shown that plastic processing additives containing "free" zinc, magnesium, calcium and iron will cause deleterious color effects when used in a plastic resin system containing PS Pigment. If a metal containing additive must be used, it should be thoroughly tested to ensure the color stability of the PS Pigment.
Toxicity:
TKPS Pigments are essentially non-toxic and contain no constituent heavy metals, safe to be applied in finished product such as graphic arts.
Storage:
The product should be stored, handled and used in accordance with good industrial hygiene practices and in conformity with legal regulations.
